Last May 9th took place in Madrid the 1st National Congress on Interim Management, organized by the Spanish Interim Management Asociation (AIME). Savesa Management had the oportunity and pleasure to participate in its organization, as member of the Organizing Committee and partner company.

The venue, which we announced a little more than a month ago in our News Section, was a complete success, thanks to the participation of nationwide relevant institutions, such as the Spanish Confederation of Employers’ Organizations (CEOE), the Spanish Management Asociation (APD), or the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Support Directorate of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, as well as the assistance of more than 300 Managers from all over the country.

Main themes on the congress

The congress focused on 3 main themes:

  • Interim Management as a strategic tool for organizational change management. In a previous post, we explained the ground concept of Interim Management; what it is and what it does.
  • Usefulness of such figure to improve the competitiveness of SME in Spain. On another previous post, we have also made some analysis on the usefulness of Interim Management to SME.
  • Results of the 1st Report on the Status of Interim Management in Spain.

A summary of all these issues can be found in an article published last Sunday 21st in La Razón.
